Kid Cudi finally brings us that short film that he announced a while ago with Shia LeBeouf helmed as the director. Its a 10 minute short inspired by Cudi’s Maniac track that’s pretty well done. I’m actually pleasantly surprised with Shia. Good job Stevens.
OddFuture‘s new music project, The Internet, brings us their first single and the music video for Cocaine. Its different from what you would expect out of the crazy kids over at OFWGKTA in terms of the actual music, but the video is definitely something Golf Wang worthy.
Big Sean‘s music videos lately have been the best I’ve seen in the hip-hop scene lately. Check out his newest video for his single, Dance (A$$). Not only does the video have Nicki shaking what her momma gaver her, but it has a great use of typography and simple shots and cuts.

One of my favorite up and coming directors is Jason Goldwatch, mostly for music videos. He released a nice reel to see the kinds of shots he’s been pulling off in all his different videos.
Another catch-up post, but here’s a music video for IS TROPICAL’s THE GREEKS. Honestly I don’t even know if the group is IS TROPICAL or THE GREEKS. The video is a great take on rotoscoped footage and features some kids getting shot. Its not as bad as it sounds, I promise. Its quite entertaining. HA.
